DevOps Engineer

Your Role at Relatient
In this role, you’ll help us move the needle owning:
Supports software development processes via continuous integration delivery
Continuously looks for ways to improve and streamline processes and procedures
Troubleshoots and resolves issues in the development, test, and production environments
Acts as liaison between DevOps, Deployment Automation and Engineering Teams
Acts as internal consultant on system architecture design initiatives
Provides direction on infrastructure architecture
Works closely with managers, project managers, and business partner leaders to define and develop or implement major software applications
Works with staff, business partners, and leadership to help them understand potential application functionality, development approaches, enhancement options, and process improvements
Works with enterprise architecture teams to integrate application architecture into enterprise architecture
May occasionally be required to speak and present to internal or external clients for advocacy events
Performs other duties as assigned
Core Experience Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, B.E./B.Tech or related field or additional work experience in lieu of a degree is required.
4+ years of experience in a similar role required
Practical experience designing, building, and automating solutions utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda ECS and API Gateway
Experience designing, building, and automating solutions utilizing AWS services such as KMS, Route 53, IAM
Kinesis, SQS, SNS, ALB, NLB
Experience working with cloud automation tools such as Yaml / Terraform
Experience in building CI/CD pipeline automation in tools like Jenkins/Cloud bees with scripting languages such as Groovy, Ruby, or Python
Practical experience working in DevOps team/organizations with applied Agile development practices
Hands on experience with automated tooling such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible
Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration
Hands-on coding in at least one programming language and desire to learn more
In depth, practical experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation, orchestration, trends and industry-leading cloud vendor offerings
